The final chapter on the life of Baudelaires orphans. Last we saw them they were in a boat with Count Olaf, in the middle of no-where but sure it was somewhere.
The final book of A Series of Unfortunate Events entitled the The End. Is very fitting indeed. The children find some answers to their questions and more about themselves then ever before. Although grim at times and repeatative at most, Lemony Snicket has told the story well of the three orphan children. From their happier times to the unfortunate events that followed them where ever they went. Through friendship and death, to near death, the children have survived and done what is best.
A wonderful ending to their journey. However readers will feel the urge to want more of them. Written in a cleaver manner, the series could almost be called a dictionary, a remakable thing for children to have today.
Highly recommended to anyone who enjoys misfortune, grim tales, adventure and books. A wonderful series of 170 chapters!
In bookstores now. This would also make a great Christmas present for pre-teens!
